The quarterly figures are announced by Vodafone. The major failure last April let the provider see a slight dip in its sales. Without the interference and the subsequent compensation action, the turnover of the telecom provider has increased.


The major failure due to a fire at a substation network was not a good start of the quarter. The quarter where Vodafone now reports covers April, May and June. After the outage, which lasted several days and made sure that Vodafone customers in a large part of the Randstad reach, was a compensating action. Customers could call for free four days. The missed revenue during the fault and the cost of compensation were added together the increase in sales offset by Vodafone.

 Decrease in revenue, increase customer
