ICS Desire HD
ICS Desire HD

The HTC Desire HD will still not update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Previously, there was at the same time talk of a software update, but it was long to wait. Now HTC has officially announced that Desire HD users can forget about the ICS update.

A few days ago, the news came out that the long-awaited Ice Cream Sandwich updated for HTC Desire HD was in full development. When, however, no indication could be given when the update, Desire HD phones would reach. Now it seems that the update has been canceled in its entirety. The reason? The Desire HD is not considered fast enough to run Google's Android Ice Cream Sandwich to run. The official statement from HTC:
After extensive testing, we’ve determined that the current version of HTC Sense with Android provides customers with the best experience on the HTC Desire HD. When we consider new versions of software, we weigh a number of factors, but ultimately, the customer experience with the product is the deciding factor. We apologize for any confusion this change may have caused our customers.”

HTC DesiretS uncertain
Now the update for the Desire HD final stop put, the question arises about the HTC Desire S. About this phone, HTC has not officially canceled the update, but that would just be. Both devices feature a 1 GHz processor, and both devices are almost as fast. The probability is high that any problems with the speed of the device will also arise in the Desire S.. Like Samsung or HTC goedmakertje as a 'value pack' will deliver the Desire HD and possibly Desire S is not known. We will keep you informed about developments regarding this update-soap.
